Pre Peel Instructions

2 Days Prior to Treatment

• Stop using clay masks, scrubs, exfoliators that contain alpha hydroxy acids (glycolic, lactic, mandelic acids) and beta hydroxy acids (salicylic acid) and tretinoin/retinol.

• Avoid self tanning agents.

• Post pone the treatment if you are experiencing cold sore or active skin lesions, windburn or sunburn.

• Avoid waxing and dermaplaning, laser resurfacing or microneedling procedures.

• Avoid shaving one day prior to peel.

Post Peel Instructions

• Avoid makeup for a few hours post treatment. Use non-comedogenic makeup.

• Avoid exercise (sweating) for a few hours after the peel.

• avoid direct sun exposure. Use mineral sunscreen with minimum SPF 30.

• Avoid retinol/tretinoin/alpharet products for 5 days.

• Avoid potentially irritating products (alpha & beta hydroxy acids) for 5 days after the peel.

• If irritation occurs, stop using products until skin has normalized.

• Avoid waxing for 24 hours.

• Shaving is ok the day after the peel.

• Avoid steam, saunas and other heat sources for 8 hours after the peel.
