Filler Melting/Dissolving (Hylenex) Post-Treatment Instructions

• You may experience tenderness, swelling, bruising, redness, and soreness in the area that was injected. This is temporary and normal

• Feel free to gently massage the treated area for a few minutes every few hours for the first 24 hours after injection

• Warm compresses can be applied to help the dissolving process a few times during the first 24 hours after treatment

• Remember that multiple sessions may be needed to achieve desired results

• If more filler is desired, wait two weeks after filler dissolving before scheduling a filler injection appointment, (this ensures that the hylenex will be gone and will not melt the newly injected filler)
